Women of Faith 2007 Retreat Reflections

"Entering Into Hs Presence"

Brenda Anderson’s words could not have been truer as we look back on the blessing of this year’s retreat: “God not only showed up, but He showed off." (SEE VIDEO)

The weekend was filled with the study of God’s word, the building of Christ-like character, and the incredibly sweet fellowship of our sisters in Christ. Rev. Brown shared powerful building blocks from God’s word and prefaced the teaching with a beautiful anointed service. Testimonials, as well as worship singers and dancers inspired us. We even had the opportunity to join in and share in the worship by doing the electric slide (SEE VIDEO). Truly, there is freedom in Christ! The weekend was a great reminder, in the words of Richard Foster that— “like Jesus, we must go away…so we can be truly present when we are with people.” We came back refreshed and ready to be a blessing to others. - Linda Delerme, Committee Leader
