The church usher is responsible for maintaining an atmosphere of reverence and order before, during and after service. The usher helps people feel comfortable and at home.

The idea of service is kept constantly before the ushers. We serve the Lord, our Pastors and church. Christ's love must radiate in and through the usher. Then it will be obvious to member and visitor alike that the love of God is alive and well in the church usher who serves. Ushers work efficiently, but not at the expense of kindness.
