Almost from Crossroads' beginning, the Holy Spirit birthed in the heart of it's founder, Pastor Amiee Cortese, the need for a Security Ministry.  Not bouncers...not crowd control... but a ministry, servants of Christ called to serve God in the safekeeping of His church and the property in which we worship Him. 

Simply put, our mission is to safeguard the church during worship and prayer services, cell groups, ministry meetings, and special events.  We also serve as escorts for pastoral leadership, and as occasion dictates, visiting pastors and guests.  This includes our involvement in accompanying the church's evangelical outreach teams, such as StoryTellas.  We also have a role, in collaboration with the Ushers Ministry and Facilities Management, in building safety procedures and programs.  A lot to do on a weekly basis, but we put no confidence in our flesh... "...Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts."

Safeguard, escort, watch...this we do, not for money or fame, but because we love Him and want to serve Him. We are His living testimony and as such we desire to always conduct ourselves in a manner befitting.   Knowing that on any given day, we as members of this ministry, may be the first impression that a visitor will know of Christ.
